Quest Complete, Here's A Map

Brussels (and Bruges)

After visiting Paris, I stayed in Brussels. But the first thing I did after settling into the hotel there was visit Bruges! In Bruges, I went to the De Halve Maan brewery, where they brew Brugse Zot.

The view from the top is also pretty cool!
After enjoying Bruges for a while....
The next day, back in Brussels, I went to the Atomium.

Paris

I arrived in Paris yesterday, and after finding the Peace and Love hostel, I went straight to the Fat Tire Bike Tours company that I knew from Berlin for some bike tours of Paris.

Here's our tour guide!

Here's the Eiffel tower, with some peace monument in front of it.

This is the monument outside the école militaire.

And here's the building itself.

And some more of Paris....

And it's me near the Eiffel tower.

Then I did the night tour of Paris.

It's difficult to take pictures at night without a tripod without making them blurry.

We went on a boat as part of the tour too.

At night, the Eiffel tower looks really cool.

Grenoble

After Interlaken, I went to Grenoble, the so called capital of the alps. (though when I was in Innsbruck, that's what they called that city too!)

This city was pretty cool, though unusually quiet. It did have an awesome fort on top of a hill beside the city, and a cable car to take you to the top.

It takes you flying over the river to this place...

There are some good views from up here. And some caves too.

While staying in Grenoble, I went to visit Lyon for the day.

This city wasn't that exciting, but it did have a nice little zoo in a park.

Next up, Paris.

Interlaken

Yesterday, I arrived in Interlaken, a cool Swiss town located between two big lakes and surrounded by some of the biggest mountains in the alps.

I started by renting a bike and going to one of the lakes...

Today, I went to the 'top of Europe', Jungfraujoch. This was amazing, thou it was a lot busier than I was expecting as there was a Brian Adams concert near the top of mountain.

Taking pictures inside the crowded trains on the way up was hard, so here's a picture of a train.

There were people everywhere...

Stations in caves!

The views were pretty amazing.

This is the viewing station on top of the mountain.

At the top, there was this ice sculpture place.

And you could walk around outside.

On the way back, there were even more concert goers.

Great views on the train back down...

At some point the snow has to come to an end...

Tomorrow: Grenoble!
