München

I arrived in Munich on Sunday evening. The next day, I went on a free tour of the city centre. We started out at the glockenspiel, which the tour guide wasn't a great fan of. But of course it had to be seen when in munich!


There was this strange spinning device under an archway...


Right next to a statue of Juliet, from Romeo and Juliet.


There are a lot of concrete building with fake painted on bricks. The whole city is a replica of itself before it was all destroyed in world war 2. But of course they cheated a little with some of the buildings...



Munich has many beer halls....






Here's a bright yellow church.


This is the hauptbahnhof.


In the evening, a few of us from the tour went to a restaurant/beer hall operated by augustiner brewery. That was lovely.
